Connecticut -- Too Cool for New England, Too Clean for New York.  If you are from the great state of CT -- The Nutmeg State, aka, The Constitution State -- you know that you're nestled right in between the 2 different worlds of all things NYC to the south, and all things New England to the north.  Identity crisis?  We think not!  It's really the best of both worlds.

For this new, new Connecticut T Shirt, we really reflected deeply -- what was Connecticut all about?  I had spent some time in the Connecticut "Gold Coast" area, and man, was it nice, just like a heavenly, well-manicured, well-groomed little bubble of happiness, with the Metro North train and I-95 connecting it like a lifeline to the snarling, unkempt monster of New York City.  A few years later, I took the ferry from Long Island to New London, went to Mystic, drove around the Eastern part of the state, and it was a whole different feel.  I also read this article -- "Where Do Rivals Draw the Line?" -- about how the border between Red Sox and Yankees fans goes right through the heart of Connecticut.  So, we just kind of blurted out, "Connecticut... is like... a cleaner version of New York, but it's not, like, fully, cutesy, new-england-y, you know what i mean???"  And that's where we got the idea... so if you're from Connecticut, if you like being in the middle of everything, this is the tee for you!  Oh, and, you guys have some pretty good basketball teams too!
